The Eye of the Beholder - a Great Opening!

The Eye of the Beholder opening was attended by approximately 150 people (by the wine glass count and visual guestimates)!  That is an excellent number and I can't thank you all enough for attending, helping, supporting, donating, etc.!

Of course our wonderful sponsors, Eenoco Japanese Steak & Sushi, Olde South Wine & Spirits, Boxwoods Gardens & Gifts, Madison Oaks Inn & Gardens, Godfrey's Feed, and Rutledge Frames deserve a standing ovation for everything they did to make it possible to present this show.  Please remember to thank them the next time you are in their establishments!

Great thanks go to STMA, our partner in this effort.  Were it not for the generosity of Lisa Conner and the help of Heather Haney and Pam Tomany, this show would not have been possible!

Guildies & friends who stepped up to the plate in so many ways deserve special recognition:  Pete Muzyka, Pete "Atlas" Ekstrom, Greg Strelecki, Kevin McGowan, Cathy Best, Mev Rozsman, Willene Coggins, Laura Rice, Ira and Roberta Block, Louise Lauderdale & Pam Baxter, Martha Lower, Sue Foy, Julie Noland, Rick Crown, Janet Mason, Jan Reilly, Solveig Harden, Kiki Pollard, Gaye Chatov, Pat Farmer, Ann Huff, Cheryl Whitestone, Liselott Johnsson, Margaret Ligon, Amelia Steele & Beth Goodwin.  All these folks either helped with financial donations, food contributions, physical help, and or some sort of service in the cause!  Thank you all for being a part of the Eye team!

Philip and Anita were so grateful for all our efforts and were very happy with the results.  We all made them feel warmly welcomed and they were thrilled with the venue, their accommodations, and the new friends they've made in Madison.  The show runs through Oct. 30.

This show was a year in the making and required a real team effort.  Thank you all for participating!  Visit our Facebook page for pictures from the opening, courtesy of photographer, Greg Strelecki!
